Become A Judge

Requirements

There are requirements to become a certified judge, however, we’ve laid out a check-list to make sure you’re good to go. These items are not necessary to take the Judges Course, however, they will be needed to judge a competition. Here’s a list of items you’ll need:

  • A valid USAG Professional Membership. Obtain your membership at USAgym.org. Your membership will become active once you fulfill the following:
  • Have a valid NGJA Membership
  • Pass the JO and/or National Test.  It is strongly suggested you complete the test prior to the course as the course is not meant to teach you how to judge but to supplement your preparation. These tests are accessible once you have become a current NGJA member.
